The Coachella 2022 brand strategy involved a very intentional direction to reach Gen-Z as their main demographic. The idea and the visual direction was to include a touch of creative chaos but with some structure to the design elements. A touch of imperfection in these designs was exactly what spoke to the Gen-Z user through this campaign. We included paper tears, polka dots, newspaper outline cutouts, palm trees, checkerboards, abstract asymmetrical shapes with a lot of film grain.
All of the visual elements were not to distract from the main artist in the centre of the frame.

Once we established an overall look and feel with a bright, sunny and radiant color palette we were able to repurpose these assets for all social platforms and all the artists like Harry Styles, Big Sean, Koffee, Doja Cat and more.

This social campaign was a huge success and we had an increase of 34% more engagement, retention and higher sales compared to Coachella 2021 and 2019.

NFL+ BRANDING CASE STUDY
The NFL+ brand strategy had to be approached carefully and methodically so the brand would stay true to four generations of die-hard loyal fans and still be able to reach the new and younger Gen-Z demographic. There were four levels to the strategy that were implemented to carry the visual identity over to the full look and feel of the rebrand.

Does the new brand point to something unique yet familiar?
Will it communicate to 4 generations of families of loyal die-hard NFL fans? Does it have an orderly visual narrative that flows from begin to end? Are the ideas expressed in a dynamic and stylish way? Is it simple and elegant as possible? Are there any inconsistencies in the visual theme and are there any ideas that have gone astray?
